I came across an article today on how to get one night stands. It was written for men, but I decided to read it anyway and had quite a chuckle. By the time I got through it I was on the floor in hysterics, battling the side ripping pains that accompany a good belly laugh. It was a total case of the blind leading the blind and written by an alleged doctor no less!
His tip; learn to spot the one night stand type women by choosing those with obvious low self esteem and then play on this vulnerability! Reality check; these are the women who will fall hard and fast for your bullshit charms which will undoubtedly lead to clingy behavior.
And don’t think that you can just brush these women off as easily as you can lay them. A desperate woman is a resourceful woman—especially when you’ve managed to convince her that you truly care!
And really, do you wanna have sex with a girl who hates herself and needs to be conned into screwing you? That’s gotta be about as much fun as one of those pocket-pussy toys.
The article was insulting to women, but even more so to men. This ‘doctor’ was quick to assume that men are incapable of finding sex with a woman who is interested and entirely based on his belief that a man just can’t get sex without slumming and trickery.
It’s quite possible (judging by his work) that he is in fact incapable of finding a fun and mutually exciting no strings attached f*ck! You know you’re better than that… right??
Here’s a tip from a woman who is self confident, believes in one night stands and makes a living writing about sex: Look for the woman who is smiling and having a good time and doesn’t look as if she needs to be pulled from a deep well of self pity. Look for the one who isn’t afraid to make eye contact and can hold her own even when flirting with a player at the top of his game.
Lastly, one who genuinely enjoys a good ol’ conversation saturated with sexual innuendos as opposed to the one who needs to be plowed with alcohol and lured into the topic of sex (yes—all of Dr. Idiots advice too!).
There are like minded women out there who are fun, confident and just as horny as you— maybe even more so.
These are the women who make for great sex, and really, don’t you believe deep down that these are the types of women you deserve? If not, then you will be the one labeled as the guy with low self esteem that us one-night-stand- hungry gals should be on the look out for as “easy prey”…
